In a quiet neighborhood, Maharaja, a respected middle-aged barber, lives with his daughter Jothi and Lakshmi. When Maharaja reports to the police that masked intruders attacked him and robbed Lakshmi, the authorities reject this claim, doubting the authenticity of her loss.
